-J. R. Bulloch
"J. R." John R. Bulloch was a detective, much like Benjamin Grey who served with Mr. Bulloch throughout his career in Rapture. In his only audio diary throughout the rest of the game he notes that Benjamin and him were close friends and, how in his most recent operation, he was so close to catching Atlas. According to his last audio file, he left around midnight one week before you wake up in Medical Pavelion to pick up some food for himself to live on in the hospital. After leaving the hospital he was attacked by Nitro Splicers, probably the first three Benjamin meet who are looking at the corpse where the audio diary is located. Judging by his accent, he is from Chicago, Illinois.

- "Get Well Soon"
"Hey Benny, this is Ol' JR. Hehe, just wanted to give ya a heads up, well, Rapture is in war with Atlas, and it seems everyone is splicing now and going crazy and Ryan ain't doing much to stop it. It's almost like he has just stopped caring about Rapture. I'm gonna be heading out on my rounds soon, just wanted to say when I get back I'm not leaving your side until your eyes pop open and we can get this city back in order. So get well soon"
